About Visions Of Labor
Visions of Labor introduces international best-practice examples which showcase new and successful forms of union organizing. We especially aim at self-organized and internationalistic approaches which, in the face of a globalized capitalism, can be used as an example. The connections existing between practical work and collective visions of 'global labor' in the 21st century are most important to us. The results of our research are published on this website as texts, video clips and web links. We gather external material, but we also produce content ourselves. Apart from the website an interactive/non-linear video and a documentary film will be forthcoming. The project and featured work are intended to contribute to a real networking of international projects. In the middle phase of the project actors are invited to a conference in Berlin to speak about their work and exchange experiences.
